  • It is really amazing what they can do for you!

The staff could not be nicer! I’m a very picky person and if something isn’t right they would hear about it from me. But they are just delightful. We had a pool party the other day. There is just something all the time, and they get to know you, and where you live and what you do, what you are interested in doing. It is really amazing what they can do for you!

  • Las Ventanas was an answer to our prayers!

Las Ventanas was an answer to our prayers! My husband Robert needed a place where he could receive 24-hour care. Robert went right into the skilled nursing unit and I bought a one bedroom apartment. These three units are all right here – so I could be with him whenever I wanted. I lost Robert about a year and a half after we moved in. But he passed knowing I was taken care of for the rest of my life. Now, I’m on my own. But I’m not alone. I have started my new life with many new friends, and I’m very happy to be here.

  • My favorite thing about Las Ventanas is the residents!

I moved in to Las Ventanas because of favorable recommendations from family and friends. After moving here, I found companionship. I am not lonely. I was converted to a more social life than I had before moving in. My favorite thing about Las Ventanas are the other people who live here.

  • I am happy to be living here!

I love the attractive Southwestern architecture. The interior has a warm and elegant appearance, too. I feel embraced by this facility. It’s the people who make this center of care so special. Residents and staff welcome newcomers, provide the assistance needed to settle in, interact respectfully, and above all – talk, work, play and laugh together every day. I’m happy to be living here!

  • We have friendly neighbors!

Las Ventanas has comfortable apartments of various sizes and floor plans available. We chose a two-bedroom apartment to provide us larger living space, and to provide a second bedroom for our computers and office space. We have friendly neighbors who enjoy having wonderful discussions about world events. The meals are very well prepared.

  • Caring Staff

After taking care of my mother-in-law for 14 years, we decided it wasn’t fair to our kids to do the same to them, so when Las Ventanas was opened it was our ideal solution to that problem. With the three levels of care, it took care of all our needs. We have been here 10 years and it is the best thing we have ever done for ourselves and our family. All the residents are family to us and the caring staff is unbeatable anywhere. We are so busy with activities that we don’t have time to think of our aches and pains. My mother has always said “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” It’s worked for many, many years.

  • Don't wait too long! Move in now!

I have told many, many people that I wish I moved in sooner, while I was still working, because to be able to come home from work and not have to worry about cooking dinner would have been great. Living here at Las Ventanas means I’m retired from housework, from cooking, childcare, still have the dog care, but I don’t have to dust, I don’t have to vacuum for the first time in my life. That to me is really a big thing, and something that most people never talk about.

  • I came back to Las Ventanas because it felt like home!

I feel secure, I feel safe, I feel that whatever is needed for me is here, and that would not be the same if I was living in a house. Now that it is just me, I had to think about my life choice and the life that would fit for me. I have more of a social life here. Everyone here is so nice and so friendly and it is a blessing that I’m here.

The Happy Hour is our social hour. That is one good thing about here, the socialization; it is non-stop even at dinner. Everybody is laughing and talking to each other, and enjoying each other’s company and conversation.
